WHO CAN USE ATOME?
- be at least 18 years of age
- own a Hongkong-issued credit/debit card
- have a valid and verifiable phone number
How does it work?
Add products to your cart and select "Atome" when you check out.
Atome automatically splits your bill into 3 equal payments. You'll pay the first payment when you checkout. The next two payments will be spread 30 days apart. No interest or hidden charges, ever.
Check the status of your payment schedule under “Bills” in Atome's app. You’ll also be informed when your payment cycle is complete.
Can I make a refund? Where can I see my refund status?
It depends on each bank’s return and refund policy. As long as we agree to the refund, Atome’ll immediately process your refund.
If you apply a full refund, any unpaid payments will be cancelled , and the amount already charged will be refunded.
With a partial refund, refund amounts are taken off your next scheduled payment first. Any excess balance will be refunded to your debit or credit card.
Your Atome account will be updated to reflect the full or partial refund under the "Bills" tab.
Can repayment date be pushed back?
Not under normal circumstances but if you are facing technical difficulties or other challenges preventing you from paying on time, please get in touch with Atome as soon as possible.
What happens if I miss a payment?
If you missed a scheduled payment, Atome will charge you an administration fee and freeze your account until the outstanding amounts are paid. To reactivate your account, Atome will charge a HK$100 fee. If this reactivation fee and payment are not paid within seven days, an additional HK$100 fee will be charged. In Hongkong, the maximum administrative fee is capped at HK$100 fee per transaction.
I don’t live in Hongkong, does it mean I can’t use Atome?
You can use Atome to pay as long as you link a Hongkong-issued credit or debit card to your Atome mobile app when setting up your account. The purchase also has to be in HK$ currency.
What should I do if I was failed?
You can contact the Atome's customer service to confirm the failed reason and try again later.
